Autumn oranges and golds bring inspiration
Ever thought of hosting an Autumn wedding outdoors? If you haven’t then you should totally consider it, the weather is often fair, the golden hour light is incredible and the array of colours super beautiful. Today I am over the moon to be sharing these burnt orange wedding ideas curated by Laura Williams Photography at Wellington Wood. It’s also super awesome to see Supplier Love member Cast lending their gorgeous rings in the shoot, hooray!
Making the most of the setting the team had the table set up outdoors, as well as a seating area and a gorgeous macramé backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. Everything was kept really natural and rustic, with wooden furniture, pine cones and wild style blooms. I love the stylish stationery, the stunning dresses and boho cake especially. The styling was perfect and really lent itself to the location. I am sure you will agree everything here is totally transferable to a real wedding too, perfection.
Burnt orange wedding ideas
I was super inspired for this shoot to create something very warm, slightly autumnal and with ultimate boho princess vibes. This inspiration shoot was full of Persian rugs, macramé, a stunning woodland setting and let’s not forget the insane golden hour we were lucky to be blessed with! The eco-friendly Norfolk based venue ‘Wellington Wood’ was PERFECT. Full of character, tipis and heart, I knew it would be the perfect setting for my vision and I was so stoked to have them on board.
The colour palette was inspired by autumn and included a dusty pink to soften and give a contemporary feel, rusty orange and with pops of copper in the details. We were very lucky to have gotten together such a dream team to collaborate with for the shoot and two stunning couples to showcase two different looks that I’m so excited to share!
The macramé made by Kate at Lovely Little Lot Of Knots, lent itself for the perfect backdrop to our head table for the ultimate boho setting which we also used later on for our golden hour ceremony setting. We styled the table with a gorgeous rusty orange table runner and napkins for a rustic and more informal feel, with the stunning charger plates from Wren Ark that just sung ‘woodland wedding’. The on the day stationery was crafted by the talented eco-friendly stationer Faye and she suggested creating a table seating plan like this and OH my what a collaboration.
I spray painted a POS mesh panel copper and we tied it onto a copper frame from Dolly’s Vintage Tea Party. Our wonderful florist, Jamie created these beautiful pieces to go round the outside and it all came together so well! The colours and textures in the florals fitted the theme beautifully.
Our gorgeous first couple (Shauna and Dean) absolutely rocked it! Shauna’s dress was so floaty and princess-y it gave a totally different feel to the shoot and made it feel so whimsical and straight out of the most picturesque fairytale. Both the girl’s hair and make up was done by Barberella Bridal Hair (Hair) and Makeup By Sam (MUA) who absolutely nailed their looks. Shauna’s up-do styled with the piece from Garter and Veil really complimented the boho theme.
